Countdown to Peru!

Hey folks! It’s only one week until the Timothy Team and I head for Peru. For the first week the Tim Team will give a BIG kickstart to my little adventure with a training camp for the Peruvian leadership team and the new camp director for Camp Amazon!

After about 3 days of Camp Amazon Boot Camp with Tim Team drill instructors we head out for field training by taking the whole gang (9 teamers, almost 20 Peruvian camp studs, 5 translators, a Keith and a Drew) to a nearby jungle village for a little hands on training, evangelism, and fellowship.

Finally, the Tim Team will head back here while I settle back into my new home and try to figure out how to do more than ask for more beans or how to get to the bathroom!

Please check back soon as I will be posting a list of prayer requests as we head out. In the mean time please pray for the safety and effectiveness of the teams (both Timothy and Peruvian) as they seek to follow Christ in leading others to Him!
